Dyeing yarn!

In knitting class last week, Heather was able to dye yarn. This was a great, fun experience for her and I am impressed that her teacher took it on with a whole class! The yarn was soaked in water and vinegar and then they squirted the dye onto sections, squeezing and turning as needed to cover well. This is Heather's finished project! I think they are making hats from this yarn.

I bought a camera!

I saved up my money and bought myself a digital camera! It is a skinny rectangle and is white. It has a string that can hang around my neck. It can take video also and has a rechargable

battery. I am SO glad that I saved my money to buy something I really wanted! I will post pictures soon. :-)

My bird feeder

We put this bird feeder out for my zoology class. We found these birds on it today. We think they are black-capped chickadees. There are two of them, can you see them?
